Fiona,
do you have any further advice to assist me?
I've downloaded Recovermyfiles to backup the data from the hidden partition onto an external drive.
Can I use TestDisk any further to recover my machine?
TIA
Theresa

Re: Query on Lost partition on Windows Vista with RAID 1
I just repeated scan of the disk called Virtual disk and pressed P to list files. This worked and contains all the files I expect to be on my C drive
Any help in understanding where my partition has gone or what has happened to the Raid.
But essentially I need to recover the files that were on the ...

Re: Query on Lost partition on Windows Vista with RAID 1
I am confused by your response. If I explain how I've been using this PC for the last 7 years.
I have a C drive which displays as 298GB in size with about 80MG free
The D drive also displays as 298GB with around 40-50GB free (in any case a different figure from the C drive)
So each drive appears (in ...

Re: Query on Lost partition on Windows Vista with RAID 1
Hi Fiona,
I've tried pressing Enter many times, nothing has changed since my last post I've tried Task Manager to end it, but it doesn't respond. Which is the best way to force quit?
