I have used Testdisk as outlined in your instructions to recover a disk that appears as UNALLOCATED. After a Deep Scan, I selected the option to write a new Partition.

Now the disk appears as RAW.

Am I working backwards and making the matter worse?
I need to recover my email from this disc.
