My rescue of a 9TB Raid 5 is inching along. It had slowed down badly, but I stopped and resumed it and it seems to be faster again. It's still going to take 600 hours (down from 900 an hour ago).

Its now up to 668 hours remaining.

I have a 9tb raid 5 that had its directory damaged. I've been able to get it to the state where I can copy off a fair amount, though with some file corruption. Tormented by directories of photos that have vanished so I started a photorec session.

How long to wait?
Ran testdisk on a healthy 16gb lexar and it was pretty fast. Running it on the damaged disk I'm wondering how long to wait after agreeing to create a log file.

Contact the manufacturer of the card for a replacement. If it is a good brand they will do it without question.
