I'm running photorec right now and I limited the recovery to document files. Some of the pdf-files turn out to be huge (sometimes several GB!). Why is that?

/addendum: If I stop the recovery process - is it possible to switch to a different target directory and continue afterwards ...

In photorec, i'm being asked to select the Partition. I have just One Partition (almost the entire disc). Should I select this Partition or "whole disc"?

I moved a lot of Data from my external hd to the main hd and later installed the OS (Linux Mint) over it. :roll: Both disks use ext4 :|
