PC went in sleep mode - photorec

#1 Post by vaigr »

Hi everyone,
My Windows 10 was corruptedand so I had to reinstall it. but by doing so I lost all my old files.

I started using photorec for recovering at least some of them and it seems to be working.
But during the night my pc went on sleep mode (i hadn't disabled this after reinstalling W10) and could even have stopped.

When i turned it on again; there was still the photorec Windows but it seems to have stopped. the "elapsed time" counter isn't moving and neither is the "estimated time".

what should i do ? i'm scared about restarting the program , thinking it could loose all the progress

i'm attaching a picture of it if someone could give me an advice

If you stop PhotoRec, it should be able to resume the recovery using the photorec.ses file.
