Hi, I need help for recover my Android phone data using testdisk/photorec in Ubuntu 20.04. I have installed testdisk, connected the USB, but I dont know how to make my device storage show in photorec. It just show my desktop storage. Please help me, thank you.

If this is a removable device, you could remove it from the phone und put it into a SD card reader.
If it's not removable there must be function in Android that makes Android behave like a storage device. If you activate that the internal drive of the Android phone should show up in your computer as an additional USB device.

If Testdisk and Photorec fail in recovery here's an explanation why:
