Had a RAID 0 that had become broken after a BIOS update. I found this software through a series of searches and videos. After carefully following all the instructions I was able to get the RAID volume back and all looked good... until tonight. I started opening the files and discovered that they are all "off". They are mostly image files (raw and jpeg). Every file has lines through it as if they are corrupted. I don't want to do any damage but I need to get these back. They represent about 8 months of work
What are my options to recover these?
EDIT: this is for anyone that is going through something similar. Long story but I was able to resolve this. It turned out that in my multiple recovery efforts I had swapped the cables to these drives. Once I swapped back to the original position, removed both from the RAID 0, recreated them as an exact RAID 0 volume and then ran TestDisk every file came back as normal. Huge thanks to the author of this application. A real life saver!

Re: RAID 0 recovered but all files look corrupted
I have some doubts that the method described above works. I would not recommend it and if you want to try that out ensure that you cloned your disks before.
Re: RAID 0 recovered but all files look corrupted
Bottom line... it worked. All files were 100% recovered

Re: RAID 0 recovered but all files look corrupted
You did not even specify the mainboard manufacturer and model - assuming all mainboards have implemented RAID0 the same way. Is that the case? I don't know. Your description lacks details. I wonder who would ever act on that description.
Re: RAID 0 recovered but all files look corrupted
It's an MSI Pro-Z790 DDR4 with Intel Rapid Store RAID controller. It's my understanding that onboard Intel Raid works pretty much the same across all motherbords
The issue is resolved per my update. All the files were restored using the TestDisk app. I don't need any further assistance. I was simply thanking the TestDisk author
