hi
I have formatted my c-drive on my laptop by accident .........totally wiped everything .....may I ask what is the best way to get everything back ?

PhotoRec doesn't restore file names and directories.
Just give it a try.
If your not satisfy with, you can have a look for commercial software and test a trial first.
