I want to delete, not undelete. Alas, all I can choose is:

Code: Select all

Use Left arrow to go back, Right to change directory, h to hide Alternate Data Stream
q to quit, : to select the current file, a to select all files
C to copy the selected files, c to copy the current file
No, I cannot delete the normal way:

Code: Select all

ntfs_mst_post_read_fixup_warn: magic: 0x00000000 size: 4096 usa_ofs: 0 usa_count: 0: Invalid argument
Corrupt index block signature: vcn 0
# \rm -rf xxxx/BADDIR
rm: cannot remove 'xxxx/BADDIR': Directory not empty
# find xxxx/BADDIR
Input/output error
By the way, q is mislabeled. It doesn't quit. It just goes back one view or climbs up one directory.
There is no quit command.

Testdisk is not a program to delete files but to recover information.
