If your question is about the non-working keyboard, you might have a keyboard layout issue. The French keyboard I am using right know has the a-key and the q-key switched. This French keyboard is degrading me to a computer beginner right now!

Re: Scanned with testdisk then navigated with external keyboard "p" worked-q quit nonavailable
i was leaving alone testdisk after deep search for about 1 day since i had to find instructions what next.
wireless keyboard SG. during session i switched to usb-cable KB. for next scan i would use the latter attached to Ultrabook directly. not on hub.
will test KB before deap scan first. maybe it was a battery problem.
will now first mirror the drive with paid recuva. 3tb sata-drive needed for 2 TB since backup 2 TB a bit too small.....easeus not cheap and i dont trust these chinese app. in german forum someone praised it finding all videofiles intact. i dont believe him. videos had always been a problem.
i can see the drive. but its empty. partitions deleted. some show NTFS others NTFS found using backup sector. Yes found instructions in wiki.
will also study manual. first solving the quit q-problem. couldnt go back to next line to check found files with p.
Sata-HDD 2TB had data-access-problem. Raw shown. volume deleted remade and quick formatted.
was already successful with testdisk-datarecovery. accidentally these data are also on that drive(backup-version).
in the future everything will be changed.
had to switch to Sata-HDD after M2-sata-SSD was full. both drives similar problem. intenso non-top-version seems dead. we will attach into a pc. Thanks
