Trying to recover a 1TB notebook hd

#1 Post by OutBreak »

Friends, firstly sorry for my English.

I use a 1TB notebook HD in a USB case, I put my photos on that disk but I can't access it anymore.

Windows gives an access error and says that the drive is not formatted.

From what I could research, it seems that the NTFS share became RAW, something like that.

I discovered Testdisk in a tutorial on YouTube.

I've had "search mft" running for 24 hours, it was coming quickly but now it's very, very slow.

I would like to know if this is normal and if the size of the sector is huge as shown in the print.

I'm worried because these are all my photos. Thank you very much.
