corrupted partition table on external disk from an old dual boot

I had a laptop which had dual boot. windows 10 and ubuntu. I put its hard disk in an enclosure and was using it , one day i maximized one windows partition as linux partion was visible as unallocated space. now windows isn't recognizing it and disk management is showing it as unallocated space.
tried testdisk quick search which is showing

it has become ultra slow after 42 %. there are overlapping area .in such case testdisk doc suggest to fix boot first.
start testdisk

select the device containing the partition (avoid drive letter like D:)

confirm the partition table type

go in the Advanced menu

select the NTFS partition

choose Boot

select RebuildBS

choose List.
now my scan isnt showing boot it show efi. further if I choose advance option it shows me only image creation option. someone help how to proceed. please note this was a dual boot hard disk but right now it was being used as and extarnal disk
