Hello,
I have an External HDD which only holds some files and doesn't have any OS on it. it went corrupted after removing USB without safely remove . I want to restore the files so I used testdisk which I used many times before in different situations. it detects the drive and lists the files within, but when I write and reboot, nothing changes.
I tried testdisk with windows and ubuntu, same results
what to do? and I prefer to use ubuntu instead of windows so please any tips, say it for ubuntu version
