I got a blue screen error 0x000000ed unmountable boot volume.
automated repair came with 3 drives eligible for repair boot volume unmountable boot volume and data volume.
attempt at auto repair reads The selected partition does not contain a valid windows installation. You either selected a data drive or the volume has been formatted and cannot be repaired. The error for unmountable volume read, The selected partition is corrupt and cannot be accessed or repaired.
So I ran testdisk. Disk /dev/sdb- 320gb / 298GiB - CHS 38913 255 63
Partition

somewhere I changed some value and now I get an Bootmng missing when trying to boot from Hard drive.
any help would be appreciated. I have a Vista recovery CD but it's not detecting Vista now since my boot manager is missing.
