TestDisk crashed on start. Opened Admin command prompt window in testdisk directory. Directory string is long but accepted by Win 7 cmd.exe cd command. I'm not using standard .../download directory but one off of .../Documents directory.
Typed testdisk_win at CLI prompt & win 7 program crash box opens immediately.
System
Win 7 64-bit Standard Home ed.
Anti-Virus turned off
USB WD 1140 My Book Essential 2T plugged into USB 3.0 port not recognized windows 7
Parted Magic LiveCD does not spot the drive either. Next diag steps?
Cheers,
John S. Wolter
