I'm trying to recover deleted files from a raid 1 system. Works well so far with photorec but at some point in time it'll create an extremely large *.ppt file until my backup drive runs full. I guess it's a false positive. In fact I only need some specific Excel files from the drive, so I would like to omit the *.ppt extension but am only able to select "doc" which includes all kinds of MS office stuff. Is it possible to further specify a specific extension like *.xlsx only? I was trying to add a custom filter but I assume I'm not able to overwrite the already existing match for that filetype.
Any help is appreciated...

To recover .xlsx, you have to enable the zip file familly.
