Recover reformatted drive Windows 7 question
Hi, I have a laptop that has been reloaded to factory original with windows 7. Trying to recover prior partition using testdisk. Have gotten program to run however it complains that disk seems too small. What is odd is that the screen asking if testdisk should search for partitions created under Vista does not appear. Program seems to blow right by this screen. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks much.

Re: Recover reformatted drive Windows 7 question
The question about Vista partition is gone in recent version of TestDisk. I need to update the screenshots and update the step by step guide.
Continue with deeper search. TestDisk may have found the NTFS backup boot sector.
