Hey,
I think I accidentally borked my partition table when I tried to erase one of the two partitions my external drive had. I ran testdisk but it gets stuck on the selection screen after I select the drive in question.
The inbuilt drive works fine in testdisk. Any suggestions?

It's probably a hardware problem (ie. HD stuck heads to platter). The best is to to contact a data recovery company.
