I have cancelled the partitions in the external disk scasi easton nas 8bay in raid1 and with testdisk I am trying the recovery, with the deepened search he/she sees how under:

Re: Partition Raid1
Would it be possible to repeat your diagnose an copy paste the whole content of your testdisk.log?
Required are Analyse, Quick and if your partition is not found, deeper search also.
If any partition is found, please check it and press p to have a try to list your files.
Only if I've your complete diagnose, I can compare your partition table and the partition testdisk found.

Re: Partition Raid1
I help help help I have left the thing still suspended as screened above
Re: Partition Raid1
Your screen shots only provide information during the scan and which partitions are not revoverable, because they end after disk limit.
TestDisk creates a log file in your testdisk folder.
It contains all data during your diagnose!
Would it be possible to open it and copy and paste the content into your next post?

Re: Partition Raid1
I first of all thank you for your answer.
I have unbuntu 12.04 server I have not understood where to find testdisk.log I have obviously launched the root application
if you make me a guide footstep footstep I repeat afresh all even if it takes one day around
to see the scan partition I have to make
server@root: testdisk / dev/cciss/c1d0
is not visible being in an unity scasi

Re: Partition Raid1
the beautiful one is that gparted obviously sees the unity without partition
testdisk doesn't see only with testdisk / dev/cciss/c1d0
Can I give you my id of teamviewer (in private)?

Re: Partition Raid1
TestDisk creates a log file automatically.
Except you're using a LiveCD because of read only and if you disable creating logfile in testdisk.
You'll find it in your testdisk folder and it's called testdisk.log.
Just open it, using a word processor or any word pad (I recommend it, because an editor doesn't format text and layout could be messy) and copy and paste the content of your testdisk.log into your next post.
