Rescuing data from a dead hard drive recorder

#1 Post by hhougaard »

Hi

I don't know if it is possible to rescue my recordings from my crashed hard drive recorder but I assume that it is.
I have tried running TestDisk but it ends up with only the error message regarding missing the 0xAA55 endmark and no partition is shown.

I am new to TestDisk so I hope that somebody in here can help me by looking at the log file below.

Thx.

Does no one at all have an idea of what to do?

Is the question placed in the wrong category?
