Trying to recover pics from RAW HD it seems like it cra
I have an external hard drive (hdd from an old computer) that has gone raw. When I try to recover my images with photorec it seems like it works and recovered 3 .jpg but then it seems like it crashes. Any help I would really appreciated since is my sons 11 years in pictures.

Which version of PhotoRec are you using ?
Can you try using another version available from http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download ?
