Critical data recovery CHALLENGE!!

#1 Post by chrisredz »

Hi everyone,

I am an IT Infrastructure Engineer who's just done a massive mistake. I have installed the OS (Windows 8.1) on a hard drive that has critical data

When I realized I used a free software to recover partitions, and I found the one I deleted.

But the scan of the hard drive was not finished (22%) when I decided to cancel it as I assumed the partition I wanted was already found and it was only looking for other partitions

So I cancelled it and I proceed to restore. For my surprise only a 3% of the data has been recovered and when running another partition recovery scan it just founds the partition i recovered with the 3% percent of the information

I have used Hirens boot CD and I have a full version of the "Active Partition Recovery Enterprise"

Could anyone please let me know if there is any possible way to recover this?

Any help will be so much appreciated
