Restore .dd to drive

#1 Post by Nooch »

I saved a copy of my partition to a dd file using TestDisk. I then tried to do something to recover the drive, which didn't work. Now I want to put the drive back to the state it was using the dd file. How can I do that?

If you want to restore an image, you can use dd.
DD is available on Linux LiveCD's;
