Hello all,
I have a 500GB Western Digital hard draw that is raw, and I've been running test disk for a few days, how long should the quick search take? Please let me know if anymore information will help.

Re: Quick search not so quick
It's unusual that a scan takes such a long time.
Did you get any read errors?
Can you check your disk using CrystalDiskInfo?

Please download the portable version, because the installer (exe) contains the adware open candy.

Re: Quick search not so quick
I've downloaded the software you suggested, how do I use it?
Re: Quick search not so quick
You should unpack/unzip it.
Afterwards you can open the folder and start/doubleclick Diskinfo.
In case, you can click on the menu Disk to select your affected disk.
