Hi,
I made my NTFS data partition (with photos etc) unallocated when switching from GPT to MBR (in order to repair windows).
I have restored the partition using testdisk. However it is the wrong size (~400 vs ~700Gb) and windows does not see it as valid. In Easeus partition tool it is seen as the correct size. Also the drive was not bootable after restoring.
I am rerunning a search with testdisk.
I think I was too hasty in writing MBR with testdisk. I am writing to ask what I should do differently to correctly restore second time around!

Re: Recovered Partition seen as raw
A second deeper search helped me find the correct partitions and resolve the problem. Thanks.
