Hello all,
I am trying to recover some deleted files from a freebsd ufs partition.
I have created a .dd disk image of the volume on to a new drive.
I have tried to run testdisk against the image to do a file recovery but the only
thing that I seem to get testdisk to want to do is save a new disk image.
Am I missing something or does td undelete not support ufs?
I did use photorec but it clobbered all the file names.
Any help is appreciated!
Aaron

Re: Undelete freebsd UFS
TestDisk has no file undelete for UFS. You can always use PhotoRec but as noted it doesn't recover the original filenames.
