PhotoRec not working - please help!
I downloaded the most recent version of PhotoRec. I ran the scan and it was taking a long time so I walked away from the computer. When I came back several hours later, the program screen was gone and no files saved. What am I doing wrong? Also, the screen I have looks nothing like the tutorial on-line. Thanks for any help.

Re: PhotoRec not working - please help!
Do you have the problem with PhotoRec 7.1-WIP ? Can you check the name of the more recent files in testdisk-7.1-WIP directory ?
Re: PhotoRec not working - please help!
Hello cgrenier,
Since I sent this post, I re-tried the scan and it did work however the program did not save the files in the directory I specified - it made it's own directories.
I was only able to retrieve 201 photos of approximately 600 - apparently the rest are gone forever. How can an SD card suddenly just "lose" all it's data?
Right now I don't have access to the program files so I cannot send the info you are requesting. I can send it later today.
Thank you for your reply.

Sorry if I'm being stupid but I do not see a .WIP directory. I am running testdisk-7.0.win.
