RAID0 fixed! But files are hidden?

#1 Post by nivong » 29 Dec 2016, 00:23

I updated my MB BIOS and raid array got damaged (intel rapid storage technology). I fixed it using testdisk (THANKS!) the only thing is I don't see my files, neither in ubuntu or windows.
Both windows explore and gparted show that there is 885GB free of the 4TB RAID0 disk. Which is exaclty what it was before... only thing is not all files are displayed, I used chkdsk /f d: but that didn't find any errors. What can I do?

In file explorer, modify the options to not hide system files: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... dden-files
Does it work ?

Try TestDisk, Advanced, List.
Do you see your files ?

thanks for the quick anwsers! I tried both but no they're not showing up :( not in testdisk advanced list neither.
Found it! ran chkdsk /r /f /x d: and it did put all the files in .chk files. Im now recovering them :) looks promising!
