Creating A USB Recovery Stick with TestDisk using OS X

#1 Post by Mixphonics » 24 Jul 2017, 02:24

Hi,
I have the latest version of OS X and I am interested in trying to create a recovery USB stick with Test Disk. I was trying to follow the instructions in the documentation and it is saying I need an ISO file which wasn't included with the download for Mac.

Anyone have suggestions or steps to take to make a USB recovery stick using a Mac?

Thanks!

It's possible to use the iso from Fedora...
Read "Creating a live USB" from https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf
If necessary "Linux: Installation of distribution package", "Running TestDisk, PhotoRec under Linux"...
