can this be done? (rebuild raid 0 windows disk?)

whelp, the unthinkable happened. After years of running a raid 0 system disk, I had an issue which resulted in me swapping to my dual bios and changing sata ports.

this caused the failure of one of my raid0 ssds. I put it back and flipped the dipswitch to the original bios but to no avail. The disk showed as failed there as well.

I got so far as removing the remaining disk from the array, and creating a new array with the same stripe size.

however best i can tell, this utility requires being in windows to run? Does this leave me SOL?

thank you for your time and help!

After recreating your RAID, you may have to recreate your partition table.
You can start testdisk from a Linux USB key if necessary, see https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf
Running PhotoRec during a few minutes may help you to find if your Raid0 setup is correct, if it's ok, you will get a lot of valid files, if it's wrong, only small or invalid files.
