Discrepancy in testdisk log?

#1 Post by recuperation » 05 Apr 2019, 13:50

Hello Christophe,

some lines in a testdisk log of another user don't make sense to me.

I am referring to the testdisk log posted here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8307&p=27262#p27262

Length info and sector size translates into 3.907.029.168 sectors.
There is a bunch of read attempts where sectors are referred to adresses beyond the physical end of the disc:

Sector 3907029418 seems to be beyond the total numbers of setors of this disc which is 3907029168.
The following read attempts even go further.
How come?
Did I get something wrong?

Thank you.
recuperation.
