My Hard Drive recently crashed. It began with messages from windows that the drive is currently in use and as I was just making a backup I lost it completely.
So I opened diskmgmt.msc and it wasn't initialised - so I tried rewriting the MBR - no luck.
Then after reconnecting it and hoping it maybe would magically work again it showed this in diskmgmt.msc: .
After seraching the Internet I then found this tool - testdisk.
It shows the same nonsense as windows: (this also happend in linux btw) and trying to analyze it is taking forever.
Any thoughts?
