It is a problem of TD showing problems which may not exist or are unimportant !
All abrevations are known.
And you refer to years ago which is not useful !

By Testdisk I get other results than by e.g. Acronis Disk Director !
If I change the size of some partitions by DD or recover by True Image I was shown that between the main partitions there are small partitions created
of some MB.
But they are not shown by TD nor by DD after.
So what is that ??

There is an intact PT to be seen, but the one of the clone is different ! Why ??
And the original is an MBR partition, the clone one is always checked as an EFI/GPT !

And acronis and other programs said the PT is ok and dont find any problems even at the ...

First: Why do other programs like acronis check partition table as ok, while TD says not ??

In actual case I made a clone of a 1 TB HDD HGST 2,5 with 900 GB data to a SSD.
The clone works only for some weeks, then PT defect, no reason !

In the past testdisk under XP has different results about partition table than windows, or other tools as Partiton Magic etc pp

Also I encountered total loss of windows using a testdisk repair of partition table !

Some mulitbootsystem work fine but TD says there is a problem. But the system works ...

Thanks for your answer. One friend told me to try with dd from Linux.

But I tried several clones with Acronis TI also sector by sector ! And also HDD Raw Copy Tool works with sector by sector.

The results were the same ! Why that ??

Beside that why does an image without sector by sector makes ...

The general question is that in former times I used testdisk to repair a partition but after that the PC does not start. I have also Acronis and Partition Magic for XP.
Why do I get different results from different tools ? They must get the same faults and not different results of partition table ...
