My SSD died, luckily I had all my data in another drive. That drive is still alive.
Unluckily, I resized that drive in the past and it is not in a normal format.
Using a fedora live distro, I managed to check in gparted and the drive contain 3 partitions, a "microsoft LDM metada" (small), "unknown" (small) and "microsoft LDM data" (large).
Now fedora is able to see 1 of the two partitions, I think it is able to see the one that I didn't resize. So I will be copying the data of that partition to an external drive.
Is there any chance that TestDisk would be able to help me? I try to search for "LDM" in the manual and have not found anything.
If it is a no, do you have experience or any suggestion on what to do (even if it is to check other forum)?
Thank you.
PS: I can provide more info if needed.

Re: Can TestDisk help me recover a LDM partition
Only if you lost a partition Testdisk might find it. As for the content of this undocumented and proprietary Microsoft type of partitions Testdisk can't help.Sphere76 wrote: 14 Jun 2023, 08:57 My SSD died, luckily I had all my data in another drive. That drive is still alive.

You can read a few articles on LDM in this forum:I try to search for "LDM" in the manual and have not found anything.
search.php?keywords=ldm
I don't have any experience with LDM. If you are reposting your question somewhere else, you might consider posting a picture instead of the following text:If it is a no, do you have experience or any suggestion on what to do (even if it is to check other forum)?
Thank you.

First there are three partitions, then there are only two of them but you don't say whose data is readable.
