A few people have reported using PhotoRec to recover deleted files form the Qlocker ransome virus on their Qnap NAS.

I and thousands of others have been hacked by Qlocker Ransomeware demanding 500 Bitcoins to get the files unencrypted.

The orig 1.81 TB drive went down and was not sable to get an answer in the forum of a suggestion to fix it.

On win 10 x64.
was using 2TB USB for data when video editing and suddenly got the message it can't be found.
Using TD 7.1
Saw the Partition in green
2000GB 1863 GB
CHS 243201 255 63
>* HPFS - NTFS 0 32 33 243201 45 44 3907024896
Chose Write.
Can't open filesystem Seems damaged.
Tried P for ...

No it isn't a dual boot.
I did try a Deeper Search but I know there are no more partitions.
So I guess I will try Photorec.
What do I click to do this as I have never used it before.
