LBA = 255*63*C + 63*H +S - 1

Was the disk mounted ? Was the recycle bin emptied ? Did you try to recover the deleted files and write them to the disk where that were erased before ?

FIrst of all, please be sure to use testdisk from another disk than the one where you lost partitions.

It seems you formated the whole disk while installation. Did you wrote many datas on it ? Did you proceed the installation until it's end ? Formatting a device as ext filesystem wrote some ...

-what version of testdisk you tried ?
-do you have other return on the command line, like errors ?
-did you launch testdisk as root ?

Note that it seems there's a problem with testdisk/mac since some days but I can't be sure ...
